Hi Jammers,

on the weekend of the 25th and 26th of July 2026 we will hold the second edition of the Shred and Ride in Tübingen. We have a very small but steady growing jamscene that is hungry meet the Comunity. So we figured the FPAW might be a good reason for you to take a detour to visit the Souther DisCartell for a jam and in Tübingen before going to Munich. Whether you want to polish your routine the last time before the worlds or just want to jam, hang and enjoy shared food together. Thwere will be plenty of opportunities to connect on and off the field. This freestyle gathering is for everyone.

There will be Open-Coop, an MVJ-Award and -as the titel already suggests- a joint bike ride through the gorgeous woods around Tübingen on Sunday morning. If you can't bring your own bike, there are several renting options. You can get a good deal here:

The Qu*ings of the Shred and Ride will have to participate in all devisions.

Seeing that Accomondation is quite pricy in Tübingen we suggest two cheaper options. There is the Neckarcamping close to the Nekar River, which has little cabins as well as space for your campers and tents. You'll have to get in contact with them by yourself. There will also be an option to camp right next to the Jamfield for free.

It' a cute Hikers Hostel with a Beergarden and a Discgolfcourse. The serve traditional swabian food with Vegetarian Options for very fair prices. You can rent Disc there. General note: it is going to get obove 30 degres Celciua this weekend. So always bring enough water, sun cream and an hat. For the bike ride you want to brig at least 2l of fluid and 2-3 snacks like energie bars. The climb will be quiet steeb with up to 8% incline. I'll take care that we all stay as a pack and no one is left behind. In case if it is to hard we can get off and push.
